The year was 2015. Ben was working as a distribution manager at a well-off logistics company in Nashville. He’d found his groove and managed to juggle his daily work load while earning his MBA. As an ambitious and forward thinking guy, Ben was ready to dedicate the time and energy to growing the business. The unexpected challenge was found in his supervisor’s lack of interest in growth. Taking what he learned from his experiences, Ben ventured off to develop new opportunities for himself and others looking for a chance to lean in. He sought to create a company that offered employees a positive and encouraging place to earn a living while providing businesses with a more professional and reliable logistics company. Ben’s vision to simplify the supply chain and connect with real people has come to life through a customizable delivery option for businesses and a consultative approach to warehousing services. At just 5 years in, Velocity has grown to serve as Nashville’s most dynamic and well respected local logistics partner.
